Tajik Youth for the Revival of Tajikistan (TYRT / MTVT / СҶЭТ) hereby informs the public, international partners, and media outlets that recent actions by certain individuals, including Mukhamadsobir Saighoziev and Khursand Najmiddinov, involve unlawful, misleading, and unauthorized attempts to seize the name and reputation of our organization.
Specifically, in recent days, pages and information platforms using a distorted version of our name — “Youth Organization of Tajikistan for the Revival of Tajikistan” — have been created. These names do not correspond to the official name of our organization, “Tajik Youth for the Revival of Tajikistan,” and have no legal or organizational connection with us.
These actions constitute deliberate attempts to usurp our name, misrepresent the organization, and mislead the public.
TYRT was officially founded on July 17, 2014, in Moscow by Karomat Sharipov, with support from Umarali Kuvvatov. The founding meeting took place in Karomat Sharipov’s office, where Maksud Ibrohimov was elected as the organization’s Chair, Ubaydullo Nosirov as First Deputy, and Nasimjon Sharipov as Second Deputy. With the legal assistance of lawyer Nikolay Nikolaevich, a formal registration request was submitted to the authorities of the Russian Federation at that time.
It is important to note that Mukhamadsobir Saighoziev and Khursand Najmiddinov did not participate in any founding meetings and had no involvement in establishing the organization. This is fully verified by credible evidence, including photographs and video recordings of the founding meetings.
After the arrest and extradition of Maksud Ibrohimov to Tajikistan, where he was sentenced to 17 years in prison, the internal situation of the organization became complicated. In 2015, with the interference of external entities, including the “Association of Constructive Forces of Tajikistan,” Maruf Langarchiev was unlawfully declared as Chair, and Mukhamadsobir Saighoziev as Deputy. This decision was rejected by the legitimate leadership of the organization, including First Deputy Ubaydullo Nosirov, and regarded as unlawful interference.
Furthermore, in 2016, Mukhamadsobir Saighoziev unilaterally presented himself as “Chair” and Maruf Langarchiev as his Deputy. This action was not recognized by the actual members of the organization and had no legal basis.
Official letters from lawyer Nikolay Nikolaevich, representative of Maksud Ibrohimov, confirming Ubaydullo Nosirov’s position as Deputy, as well as official statements on Facebook since 2016, clearly reject and refute any claims by Saighoziev, proving them unfounded.
Saighoziev and Najmiddinov have never requested to manage or coordinate the organization’s informational platforms, which were active from 2015–2017, and have conducted no legitimate activity on behalf of the organization between 2015–2023.
Additionally, it is a matter of public record that Mukhamadsobir Saighoziev participated as a candidate in the official elections of the political movement “Group 24.” This demonstrates that his political activity is tied to that movement, making his claims of leadership within TYRT entirely baseless and logically impossible, as one individual cannot simultaneously lead an independent organization while running for leadership in another political movement.
It should also be emphasized that from 2017 to the present, these individuals have participated in international events, including OSCE platforms, exclusively under the name “Group 24,” and have never represented TYRT. Their participation in conferences in 2024–2025 further confirms they have no authority to act on behalf of our organization.
Meanwhile, TYRT continues its activities, advocating for human rights and the rights of Tajik migrants at international events in 2024–2025.
We also affirm that any attempts to formally register the organization under the name TYRT in Austria by third parties, including Saighoziev and Najmiddinov, are unlawful, baseless, and invalid, as the organization has been active since 2014 and the right to use its name belongs solely to its legitimate structure.
Our official informational platforms, established and maintained by the organization’s legitimate leadership, include:
- Facebook group: “ROO Vozrozhdenie Tadzhikistan”
- Facebook page: Youth Tajikistan (since 2015)
- YouTube channel: Youth Tajikistan (since 2017)
- TikTok: @youthtajikistan
- Official website: tyrt.org (since 2024)
Tajik Youth for the Revival of Tajikistan hereby declares, with full responsibility, that Mukhamadsobir Saighoziev and Khursand Najmiddinov have never been legitimate leaders of the organization. Their use of the organization’s name is unlawful and misleading, and all claims made by them are entirely rejected.
The organization reserves the right to protect its official name, reputation, and activities, to present evidence to platforms and relevant authorities, and to take legal action as necessary.
We call on the public, activists, and international partners to rely solely on official information from legitimate sources and not to trust false or misleading information.
Respectfully,
The Council of Tajik Youth for the Revival of Tajikistan
