On the sidelines of the OSCE conference, Ubaydullo Nosirov, head of Tajik Youth for the Revival of Tajikistan (TYRT), held a meeting and constructive discussion with Ms. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.
During the discussion, the parties exchanged views on political developments and human rights in post-Soviet countries, the role of democratic forces, and the importance of coordinating the activities of civil society representatives and opposition movements.
During the meeting, Ubaydullo Nosirov proposed establishing a joint coordination platform at the initiative of Ms. Tsikhanouskaya. The platform could bring together representatives of opposition movements and democratic forces from post-Soviet countries, creating opportunities for experience-sharing and closer cooperation.
It was also proposed that, on the sidelines of the 2027 OSCE conference, a joint meeting be held involving representatives of opposition movements and democratic forces from post-Soviet countries, with the participation of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.
According to Ubaydullo Nosirov, such an initiative could help strengthen solidarity, coordinate efforts, and foster broader cooperation among democratic forces across the region.
He emphasised that, under current circumstances, cooperation among civil society representatives, young people, and democratic forces in post-Soviet countries is becoming increasingly important.
The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere, with both sides expressing their readiness to continue the dialogue and explore opportunities for further cooperation.
