Yesterday, the head of Tajik Youth for the Revival of Tajikistan (TYRT) participated in and delivered a speech on the first day of the OSCE conference.
During the opening day of the conference, Ubaydullo Nosirov took part in discussions on human rights, civil liberties, and the role of young people in the development of society, expressing his views on several important issues.
In his speech, he highlighted, among other things, the rights and freedoms of young people, freedom of expression and opinion, the right to education and employment, youth participation in public and political life, and the need to create a favourable environment for civil society activities.
He also emphasised that young people, as an important force in society, should play a greater role in decision-making and in shaping the future of the country.
Continuing his speech, Ubaydullo Nosirov addressed the protection of human rights, the need to uphold the rule of law, guarantee fair judicial proceedings, and prevent cruel treatment and torture.
He stated that discussions on human rights should not be viewed as opposition to the state or the nation. According to him, open and constructive discussion of existing challenges can help improve the situation in society and strengthen confidence in the country’s future.
Concluding his speech, the head of Tajik Youth for the Revival of Tajikistan stressed the importance of listening to young people’s voices, protecting their rights, and ensuring equal opportunities for their peaceful and constructive participation in public life.
The first day of the conference continued with discussions on key issues relating to human rights, democracy, civil liberties, and the role of civil society.
